Affiliate Marketing

How todo Affiliate Marketing

Here's a course in how todo Affiliate Marketing and at the end are links to tools to help.

First off is, and it depends on what program you use, you'll need a PayPal or Payoneer account to get paid. Some companies like ClickBank can you send you a good old fashion check in the mail. Second is signing up with an Affiliate Network so you can get that link you need to promote. Then third, which is the hardest, you need to promote/advertise that link.

Getting a link:

The first step is easy but let's talk about the second step a little bit in detail...getting your affiliate link. I'll use Clickbank as the example. After you signup with ClickBank you'll goto the Marketplace but what niche do I choose you ask?? The big 3 niches are Health/Fitness, Money Making/Wealth and Relationships, so stick to those and preferably something that you are a little familiar with. Next is Gravity...the higher the gravity means lots of people are selling it which is good because people will already know the product. From here you want to get your link...I grabbed one for Java Burn and here is what it looks like...https://cd4f2ox2q-n14t4bqrgwxdvr86.hop.clickbank.net Not very nice looking so alot of people use Bitly.com to shorten it. The cool thing with Bitly.com is you can edit the link to look like this bit.ly/Java-B.

Java Burn is a great example from ClickBank. It has a High Gravity of 378...you'll make on avg $125 per sale AND it is recurring monthly.

Promoting/Advertising:

Since the third step, promoting/advertising, is the hardest I'll dive into that a bit farther. A key here is the traffic must be targeted!!! Targeted means if you are selling yoga mats then selling to people who do yoga. Don't blast a link out to the general public and pay $100 a day for no hits. You have two options for advertising...Organic or Paid. Organic is free and is for Social media sites like Instagram and TikTok. The hard part here is you really have to stay ontop of posting things daily to generate interest in the product. Plus the algorithms like it as well.

The other option is Paid.

Google Ads is by far the most popular but also the most painful to work with. When I say painful I mean it...they are notorious for banning people because you didn't setup your Ad correctly and getting unbanned is nearly impossible. One thing that people don't realize is you can't put your affiliate link into the Ad, doesn't matter if it is the long one or the bitly one. You will get banned. What you have todo is use something like sites.google.com and build a landing page then put that URL into ad. In this landing page you briefly discuss why they should buy that product then you put that affiliate link there.

Bing Ads is one of my favorites because they generally do allow you to put your affiliate link in the ad. If there is something wrong with your ad like they don't like a keyword they tell you...whereas Google just bans you. The downfall is Bing just has less traffic than Google.

Facebook Ads are a lot like Google...they are pretty strict and have no issue banning you. Obviously you are just hitting Facebook users here but you can drill down into your audience so your ad is only presented to people interested in your subject which is very nice.

Email Marketing is exactly what it means...you gather emails then send them emails pertaining to what they signed up for. I have a TikTok account for woodworking. When they click my link it takes them to a Landing Page where they enter their email address and I send them a free eBook in exchange. I then send them to my affiliate link. Later on I send them a reminder email with the same affiliate link as studies have shown people usually don't buy the first time.

Then we have Organic.

Instagram/TikTok (Social Media) - The beauty is it is free to post pics of your product or info on your product but you have to post regularly to keep people interested. Not to mention alot of social media algorithms will favor your posts if you are consistent.

Before you get to far...not all companies send you a paper check.

PayPal - I've been using this for years!! Great way to receive money from companies when they need to pay you. You can link your bank account and transfer money when needed.

Payoneer - This is more of a European thing but I've ran across a few companies that only accept Payoneer to pay you. You can link your bank account and transfer money when needed.

These are 3 great companies know as Affiliate Networks where you can obtain links to promote to people.

ClickBank - One of the major companies out there to find products to promote. Free to sign up.

MaxBounty - Very good company to get links to products. Free to sign up.

DigiStore24 - Another great company to get links to products. Free to sign up.

WarriorPlus - Another great company to get links to products. Free to sign up.

Advertising - Email Marketing

MyLeadGenSecret - I LOVE this tool. You basically pay them $30 a month and every day they give you 100 email leads AND these leads are for people interested in Affiliate Marketing so you know your audience from the get go. You simple type up an email with your links and send it.

Advertising - Paid Ads

Google Ads - You setup a campaign with keywords and set a max dollar amount you want to spend each day. Google displays these ads for you. #1 search engine so your ads will be seen but they are very sensitive to you do anything wrong and will ban your account if you do things like if you use the direct link to the product, they want you to use a interim page.

Microsoft/Bing Ads - You setup a campaign with keywords and set a max dollar amount you want to spend each day. Microsoft displays these ads for you. Not as popular as Google but they are less likely to ban you.

Facebook Ads - You setup a campaign with keywords and set a max dollar amount you want to spend each day. Facebook displays these ads for you. They are very sensitive to you do anything wrong and will ban you pretty quickly like Google.

Other great sites to help you in your journey.

Aweber (Email Marketing) - Fantastic tool for setting up Capture Pages (to get somebodies email) as well as setting up Email Campaigns. There is a Free version and a Paid version.

Bluehost (Web Site Hosting) - Great tool to host your website. Many Affiliate Marketers build product/service specific websites for people to hit with their affiliate links on them.

Legendary Marketer - This is a great $7 course to really get you thinking about how todo Affiliate Marketing. Dave Sharpe gives you some great info and even access to some of his info on how he became successful.
